Similarities Between Patagonia and dasFlow
Patagonia and dasFlow are more similar than you could ever think of. Coming up are five similarities between these two companies.
Have you ever heard about a brand called Patagonia? It is practically impossible not to. Patagonia is a very popular fashion brand that, believe it or not, has a lot in common with dasFlow Athleisure Apparel. This was discovered after reading the “Let My People Go Surfing” book written by Yvon Chouinard.
The first similarity is that both are environmentally cautious and want to keep improving that as the years go by. dasFlow does so by using the PES ECCO fabric for the clothes and donating to “One Tree Planted”. Meanwhile, Patagonia’s mission is “to use business to inspire and implement solutions to the environmental crisis”. The fact that wanting to solve the environment’s problems is in its mission makes it pretty self explanatory that Yvon Chouinard (the CEO) is very passionate about the ecosystem’s health.
Next up, Yvon Chouinard and Nicolas Krauss (CEO of dasFlow) have a couple of things in common. Both Chouinard and Krauss live for the adventure. Chouinard was a surfer and mountain climber and Nicolas is a bike rider, paddle boarder and exercise junkie. Other than that, they both share a love of nature. One of Nicolas Krauss’ favorite past times is to be outside and enjoy every minute at its maximum. In fact that is where the “Adventure, freedom and good vibes” company value came from. As for Chouinard, his passion for nature is what inspired and initiated Patagonia’s first line of climbing gear ever.
Another coincidence between the brands is that both of their apparel is made for the outdoors. And last but not least, dasFlow and Patagonia strive and dedicate as much time needed in order to create the best product in the market. Nick and Yvon both run companies that are based on their interests. With that said, they are passionate about manufacturing products with great quality that last long and require the minimum amount of resources in order to take care of planet Earth as much as possible.
