What are Polyester Shirts?

Polyester Shirts are a durable, synthetic fabric with excellent moisture absence that allows fabric to dry quickly.  They are more fading and satin resistant than cotton and add an effective look for sublimation. These shirts are the first in mind when considering sublimation process and the effectiveness of the quality.

Sublimation what is it?

    Sublimation is a process of using high heat to set ink into synthetic fabric, then transferring that image on the piece you are designing. Using a sublimation printing machine which gives the material high-quality and a effective standard look.

Always choose Polyester shirts for sublimation!

These shirts are the most effective and beneficial for achieving high quality look and the final process of it looks amazing. Polyester is simply a synthetic fabric which works great with sublimation dye. Using other shirts like cotton for sublimation will not be easy or have a high quality look. The cotton fibers do not react with the sublimation dye in the process.

The Do’s of Sublimating Polyester Shirts!

-Most important always do your homework before you try at home.

-When sublimating Polyester shirts make sure it has 100% polyester, for a better effect and quality for clothing.

The Don’ts of Sublimating Polyester Shirts!

- Don’t have less than 40% polyester in shirts will not have as much quality.

- Don’t wash in hot water will shrink the shirt and hurt the design.

-  Do not use 100% cotton, cotton fibers do not react with sublimation dye.

- Don’t Let it Get Too Hot under sublimation process will burn and leave marks on the clothing.

-  Don’t limit yourself to only picking T-shirts try bags, hats, leggings, and sweats.

- Don’t forget about the temperature being on in the heat press while you are working from home, turn it off when you are done!
